MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The Collins Story – The Internet Connection will premiere at the Collins Road Theatres in Marion, Iowa, on Saturday, November 1st, with FREE ADMISSION!
The Arthur A. Collins Legacy Association is excited to announce that the premiere of “The Collins Story – The Internet Connection” documentary will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, at the Collins Road Theatres in Marion, Iowa.
The documentary will be screening at 9:00am and 10:30am. Admission is FREE for all ages. No tickets will be required as seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the theatres.
Can’t make it to the premiere? No problem! Additional screenings will be announced in the coming weeks. Special screenings are being hosted around Iowa and at a variety of film festivals across the country.
ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY
“Imagine your day without the internet. More than five billion people worldwide use the internet every day, each spending an average of seven hours a day online.
The internet was born on November 22, 1977. Collins Radio, a global engineering firm with roots in Iowa, is providing a key piece of mobile technology for a new network that revolutionizes human connection.”

The Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and
interpret the legacy of Arthur Collins and the Collins Radio Company he founded. In carrying out this purpose, the AACLA has a special focus on education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
